Childcare for school aged children (part time)
Beginning February 2026 we are in need of childcare for our four school aged children in Swarthmore near Henderson field. Before school and after school care. Shifts would be split and require 7:30am-9am then again at 3:30pm until 5:30pm. We have four boys ages (7,7,10,12). Schedule will consist of preparing lunches, snacks and backpacks then getting three younger ones off to school in time for first bell. After school care will require pickup from school or from bus stop (both walking distance to our home). Healthy snack preparation and homework help. Ideally we would like an experienced driver to get them to and from after school activities if needed. No personal car is necessary as we have a third can (minivan) that can be used. Look for the Tyco HO model train, including a locomotive, caboose, and beer cargo cars; a couple of goofy Santas; some beautiful ornaments; dishes for your holiday table; and MORE!
We take pride in the fact that all proceeds benefit charities in our community, such as City Team, Chester Eastside, Pathways PA, the Chester Children’s Chorus, and the Seamen’s Church Institute, among many others.
Donations are accepted Thursdays (8:30am to 11:30am) and on sale days. Unfortunately, we cannot accept computers & peripherals, furniture, car seats, and helmets.
The Thrift Shop is located at 301 N Chester Rd, Swarthmore (entrance off the circle drive on College Ave).

Petsitter needed over Winter Break
Hi! I live in the Media area and am looking for a catsitter from approx 12/20 to 1/4 (dates somewhat flexible). The person would need to feed an elderly cat 2x day, give her her medication (just need to crush pill and mix with food), maintain her litter box, and play/cuddle with her a little.
Will pay $50/day (negotiable)

Part-Time Companion/Helper Needed for 57-Year-Old Male with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy
We are looking for a compassionate, easy-going, mature individual to assist a 57-year-old man who has Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive condition that affects his mobility. While he primarily uses a walker, he gets around fairly well and enjoys going out for local lunches and dinners. He lives a short distance from campus at Strath Haven Condos.
The ideal candidate would be able to work between 4 to 6 hours over the course of one or two days each week, though we’re flexible; the time and day each week could also be changed depending on your schedule. If you’re gentle, kind, and enjoy engaging in conversation, particularly about travel and family, please reach out to us. We are hoping to find someone who is interested in building a long-term, supportive relationship over the course of several years though we understand that the summers would likely be an exception.
This position offers $30/hour, with all meals at restaurants covered. Having a car at your disposal would be helpful though not absolutely necessary.

3D Printer For Sale
