It’s a charming place in a lovely neighborhood, close to lots of restaurants and coffee shops, and Clark Park is only a 7-minute walk away. Trolley and bus stops are also very close.
The apartment will have 2 window AC units. There’s no laundry in the building, but a laundromat is just a 2-minute walk away.

Bike Storage
Hello everyone! My name is Amrita, and I’m currently a junior at Swarthmore. I will be away from campus for the summer and the fall semester, and need a place to store my bike. It’s relatively small and thin, so it wouldn’t take up too much space. I wanted to see if anyone would be willing to store it (am willing to pay), or knows of any places that could potentially store it for me. Housesitting from June 24th-August 19th
We are looking for a responsible person to take care of our house for a couple of months over the summer, from June 24th to August 19th (or part of that). The house is about ten minutes’ walk from campus, not far from SRS. You would pay utilities but nothing else. Happy to discuss other details.

Trinity Thrift Shop open 5/15
The Trinity Thrifty Shop will be open on FRIDAY, MAY 15TH FROM 8:30AM TO 1PM!!
The Thrift Shop is located at 301 N Chester Rd, Swarthmore (entrance off the circle drive on College Ave).
This is our next to last sale before our summer break so be sure to stop by and get those summer frocks! Or maybe a set of cushions for your patio chairs? Picnic ware? Sending your child to camp and need to stock up on t-shirts and linens (because you know that 1/2 the stuff won’t make it back home!)? Need a padded tote for your tablet/laptop? We got you covered!!

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment close to campus
I am going on sabbatical for a year and would like to sublet a beautiful fully furnished two bedroom apartment with a large screen-in porch on the second floor of the house (that has a total of three units). The apartment has:
-a parking spot (not covered),
-a laundry room with a washer and dryer (in the basement),
-a dishwasher,
-a screened-in porch
-a nice yard (that is taken care of by the College; this also includes snow shoveling
-is fully furnished
It is very close to the College as well as to the center of Swarthmore and the train station. The price is between $1600-$1700 (depending on rent increase for 2026-27). It is available from August 2026 till August 2027 (the exact dates are flexible).

After School Babysitting Job!
We are Nic & Tara Bamat – two pediatricians at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia who are looking for an after school homework helper for our two kids – a very artistic rising 6th grader and a lego & spelling bee fan rising 3rd grader. We live very close to campus (2 blocks from Cherry Blossom orchard) and have had an amazing Swarthmore College student working with us for the past 2 years who is now graduating. We are hoping for:
1) at least 4 our of 5 days a week (which day off can be negotiated!)
2) from 3:30 (to get them off the bus) to as late as 6:30 pm. Most days, our work will end by 5/5:30.
3) Help with finishing homework (generally 1-2 pages of math and reading for 20 minutes) & afterschool snack.
4) Occasional driving (using our car) to a sports practice/game (also can be negotiated if you don’t drive!)
5)Occasional babysitting of our 4 year old who is at TCDN nearby
Hourly compensation will be 10% greater than maximal swarthmore Student Employment Pay Rates https://www.swarthmore.edu/student-employment

Selling a gently used ELEGOO Neptune 2 FDM 3D Printer with two rolls of PLA filament (white and gray). Printer has been assembled and used, and recommended to someone familiar with 3D printing or wanting to get started in the hobby. Some tinkering and adjustments may be required.
