Hello! I’ll be going to the Hozier concert at the Mann on Friday 9/29, but my plans with my friends unfortunately fell through and I no longer have a group to go with! If any other Swat students are also going, please contact me at the published email address if you would be so kind to let me join your group 🙂

Hi! Our family is seeking a part-time babysitter to help us out a few afternoons a week and occasionally on weekends.
– 2 days a week, we need someone to meet our older children at the bus stop (6 and 8) and help them get settled at home with a snack, assist with homework, piano practice, and just playing. This would be from approximately 3:45 – 5:45 pm.
– One or two weekends a month, we would also like the sitter to help out with all three of our kids (youngest is 2) either for a few hours during a Saturday or Sunday so we can run errands or for an occasional date night.
We live an easy, 15 minute walk from campus. Salary is $25/hour
If interested please e-mail me with two babysitting references I can call.

Practicing art student (at Swat) looking for faces (and/or bodies) to model for my studio art credit. I am studying representative/realistic portraiture and figure oil painting and need live models for studies.
You’ll be asked to sit (as still as possible) for up to an hour at time. The longer the better, and take breaks whenever you need. You can read a book, or listen to music, or fall asleep, just stay still. No crazy poses unless you want to. I’ll work around your schedule.
If you’re upgrading, can you donate a working iPad, tablet, or smartphone for a good cause?
I’ve an acquaintance in Algeria who is looking for a used working smartphone, iPad, tablet, or a touchscreen laptop like a Lenovo to use for his work and to read his extensive digital library that has currently stored on USB thumb drives. He has the equipment to transfer their content to an Apple or Android or other major system device. If you’d be willing to donate your old device to me, I can guarantee it will find a good home. Please get a professional to delete all your data on the donated device beforehand, of course.
Please call or email me if you have questions, or want to donate. Thanks! I posted this on August 30 and so far have not heard from anyone. Fingers crossed someone will respond, please! Surely someone out there is thinking about upgrading their device?

Hello, I am an old alum, class of 1991, and not a math major. So, we are seeking a Swarthmore student who has about 2 hours per week, minimum, to tutor my daughters (Freshmen/3rd grader). Its basic math which should be fun for the right individual. We live in Media and can have you come to our home or meet at Swat. Preferably Friday afternoons after 3:30 pm but will coordinate with your schedule. Will make sure you are fed, coffee, etc, plus hourly pay.
Also, we have had students in the past babysit and it has worked out quite well. We live 8 minutes from the campus and would love to keep the tradition going and appreciate the help.
Much gratitude and hope you all have a great academic year!
My name is Pete Clemmer, Swat ’09. I’m looking for 1 to 2 mini fridges from which I want to build some things and I’m wondering if there are any students trying to get rid of mini-fridges? I’d appreciate any info you have.
